Ipsy bag January 2017 unboxing!
Ispy is my favorite subscription service because of how personalized it is! It is $10.00 a month and you receive 5 full sized or travel/mini sized items. Each month I usually get, two or three makeup products, a brush and/or nail polish and one skincare/hair care item. I love getting makeup (surprise surprise) so that's what all my preferences are set to and that is what I usually get. However thanks to how Ipsy is set up if you prefer more hair products or more skincare products you can change your preferences to those! Plus in addition to all of the awesome products you get a bag each month! I love these bags so much! They are great for gifts, to throw into a bag or even for a little first aid kit. I love my Ipsy bags so much!
In this bag I received three full sized products and two travel/sample sizes. The first full sized product that in my favorite is the, Manna Kadar Cosmetics Paradise Blush, I love this because of the shade! Holy moly guacamole! It is so pigmented and beautiful! I had to use a light hand like super light hand with this blush but I do love it! This is worth $19.00.
The second full sized item I received is, the SLMissGlamBlend Beauty Brush L34, it is so cute! I absolutely LOVE blending brushes, I could never have enough. I think it is the most essential brush someone could have, so this is an excellent item to throw into the bag. On the https://slmissglambeauty.com/ site, they only come is sets and it comes in a set of 25 brushes for $325. So if you do the math this brush is worth, $13.00.
The third full sized item I received was, F.U.N Lacquer F.U.N Lacquer TGIF , I really like this nail polish. Something I love about Ipsy is that they include brands most people have never heard of! So they offer some really great support to some smaller brands so that we can try out the products. I love this color! I think it will look better with a white base, the formula is great! This is worth, $11.50.
The sample size I received is the pur~lisseBlue Lotus Seed 5-in-1 mud mask + exfoliant, I haven't tried this yet, I can add an update in my monthly favorites/hate it's but if I am going to receive a skincare item, I would rather it be a mask than anything else. Mask's are my favorite skincare items! So I will keep you updated on that one! The cost of the full size is worth, $55.00, so at 15ml this is worth $11.15.
The second sample sized item and last item I received is the theBalm Cosmetics Bahama Mama, I love theBalm cosmetics so I love to receive their items in my Ipsy bag. Now for a bronzer this is so tiny! I won't be able to use it as a bronzer for that reason but I can use it as an eyeshadow. Bronzers aren't my favorite makeup item to receive in subscription boxes, because I am so picky about them, but I'm not mad at it. The full size scouts, $20.00. So this is valued at $1.60.
The total value of this months Ipsy bag is, $56.25. Would I pay that much for those individual products, nope. Bu tot receive all those products for only $10.00 is amazing!

Something else I really like about Ipsy is that each month after you receive your bag you can review the products, which helps them decide what to put into the bag for you, but it also gives you points which you can redeem for free items! They are usually sample sizes but I got an eyebrow product with my last points, and I loved it so much I bought the full size!
PS. My mom gets this every month too, so sometimes we swap products if one of us doesn't like something we like. Ipsy is for all ages! They take that into account as well.
