I absolutely love this lip stain. This is a classic red, with a blue undertone. These are my favorite types of reds to wear because they help your teeth look whiter and they look great on any skin tone. This lip stain is long wearing and when it does start to wear off over time, it wears off beautifully. Some lipsticks can come off patchy, this one does not do that. This is very close to a liquid lipstick but isn't as matte, its more comfortable than that but it won't go everywhere. This has a slight vanilla scent.

I love this formula. I have a ton of shades in the NYX liquid suede's but I most definalty love this red the best. It is a very similar shade to the Sephora one, but this is a tad more blue toned. This one does dry down to an almost matte finish. I love how long wearing this one is, plus its an amazing liquid lipstick for the price. This has no scent or taste.

Nars velvet lip cream,

This is described as a deep cherry red. I love this lip velvet because it is a true "liquid lipstick", it isn't a matte one, just a lipstick that is liquid. This one does not dry down but it also doesn't move around on the lips, it does have some shine on the lips. (I would advise a lip liner with this one to help). I love how comfortable this lipstick is. It truly does feel luxurious on the lips. I have the mini size and if I ever go through it, I will buy the full size of this lip cream. This has a very very faint fruity smell scent, and no taste.

L'oreal colour riche,

shade 404 Jennifer's red

This is slightly darker than the siren in scarlet, it is still a blue based red but a darker deeper toned red. The finish of this lipstick is matte. I love the packaging on this lipstick, it feels so fancy. This is not long wearing so it will need to be reapplied after eating or after wearing for a while. The one thing I don't like about this lipstick is the smell. If you have every smelled L'oreal lipsticks this is no exception. Its a very strong fruity smell, and has the same taste. If you are sensitive to smells this is one I would stay away from. However its totally worth the price for the shade and how comfortable this is.

Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer,

Shade cherry pop

I have the mini version of this lipstick and every time I wear it I get so many compliments! You will need a lip-liner with this lip colour. It has a slick creamy semi-sheer formula. The color is described as a rich blue red cream. I think that is very accurate, because of the slight sheerness of this lipstick it appears brighter on the lips. This does leave behind a stain as it wears off which I actually like because it wears off evenly which can be hard to find with creamy lipsticks like these ones. It claims to have a weightless feeling on the lips and I couldn't agree with that more. This has a faint waxy "lipstick" scent, I don't mind the scent because it fades almost immediately.

This lipstick is a dark blue based red. It could be considered to be a vampy lip especially on my pale skin tone. However that is why I love this lipstick, the shade is unique and formula is very comfortable. This lipstick very affordable too which is another reason it made my favorite red lipstick page! If you have tan skin I am sure this would be a beautiful lipstick on you! This lipstick has no scent and no taste.

Too faced liquid lipstick,

Shade lady balls

This is quite honestly my favorite red lipstick I own. The name lady balls is partially why I love it so much! However the main reason is the color is so gorgeous and the formula is completely matte and super long wearing. This is a great formula for a red lipstick. You don't have to worry about the lipstick moving around or getting on your teeth. I wear this one to work when I know I won't have time to touch it up. This lipstick has a slight vanilla scent, and no taste.

Urban Decay Vice lipstick,

I debated putting this lipstick on this list but I think its a great alternative to a wearable nude based red. This is a brick rose red. I think if you are worried about wearing a bright red lipstick this is a good alternative to help you get out of your comfort zone. I love the formula! This is in the comfort matte formula and I think that is a perfect description of how this formula feels on the lips, it has the appearance of a matte lipstick but it is more comfortable and less drying than a full on matte lipstick. This has no scent and no taste.

Bite Beauty multistick,

Shade Mochi

This is a multistick but this particular one I use as a lipstick. This is a bright blue based, classic bold red. Out of all of the lipsticks on this page, this is creamiest one. It has some shine to it but mainly it's just super creamy and comfy on the lips. The downside to this is that you really will want to wear a lipliner with this lipstick to keep it from bleeding or smudging. The best thing about this lipstick is that bite beauty uses food grade ingredients which mean's that if you ingest this lipstick it has nothing in there that will be toxic. The smell is so lovely! It is a citrus smell and the taste is a light citrus taste as well.

Jordana easy liner,

Shade 16 Sedona Red

This lip liner is a must have with really any red lipstick! A lip-liner can help any lipstick last longer and keep it from moving outside of the lip lines.I love this liner for many reasons. Its a twist up, so you don't have to worry about sharpening it. It is creamy but not too creamy. Its the perfect consistency to keep things from moving around. The tip of the liner is just the right size to trace around the lip line. The price is amazing! I can go through these fast and they aren't expensive to replace. I love this lip-liner.

Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte,

Shade 690 Siren in scarlet

I love the creamy matte line. I wear one of these lipsticks at least once a week. So to no surprise I also love this red shade. This is one of the most comfortable matte lipsticks I have ever worn. This is also a bright vivid blue based red. It is similar to the shades above but has more red in this shade than blue. I would consider this lipstick to be more of a semi matte than a complete matte lipstick. You will need to reapply this through out the day but it layers up really nicely. This does have a scent, a sweet vanilla and it is strong at first but fades after a few seconds.
